S2S is a foster home for a local organization, the Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue. Small Miracles takes in a huge number of animals from citizens as well as high-kill shelters in Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, and other places as the need requires. Animals who arrive are ready for adoption receive medical care and spay or neuter surgery and then are put up for adoption, while high-risk animals and those animals who need extra care or time are placed in foster homes. We take pregnant cats, mother cats with young kittens, older orphaned kittens, and spicy kittens and young adults who need to be socialized before they are ready for adoption.

The S2S training regime draws on the language and structure of elite high-performance organizations, such as the Special Furrces. In keeping with modern purractices, we offer a wide range of support to our students, from skill training to socialization.

Training Purrograms

• Full training course, with or without course leader present. This course covers the full range of kitten developmeownt, from the tiny bean stage all the way to graducation
• Swolcialization Course, intended to support students who are not yet convinced of the benefits of living with humans
• Certificat Purrogram, for students who are fairly advanced, but still required additional fattening up or skill refinement
• Meowdical Monitoring and Recovery, typically for students of more advanced age, who have acute illnesses or have had surgical procedures and need a safe, warm place to eat, sleep, and heal
• Short-term guests, who typically do not require training from S2S, but rather take advantage of our psychological support, full-amenity housing, meowdical monitoring, and transport services until there's room for them at adoption hours

To be clear, Smol2Swol is a semi-fictional organization. It's real in the sense that we do exist and we foster a lot of kittens, but pretty much every else about it is made up for fun. Sadly, we don't have a "Meowster Chef" television series in development, the "Auxiliary Training Wing" is our home office, and most of our "staff members" are just Alice wearing different hats, wigs, and novelty mustaches.
